Card payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card in Stripe's secure payment form at the account step, and we never see your card: Stripe holds it, not us. The card is saved to your customer record and charged only after you confirm the order on the review page.
What happens when you pay
- You enter your card at the payment method step. Nothing is charged there; the card is saved for the order.
- The review page shows you the full invoice: every item, every renewal date, every amount.
- When you confirm, the saved card is charged. Your bank may ask you to approve the payment; complete that and you land on the order confirmation page.
- If you already use Link, Stripe's one-tap wallet, you can pay with it. It rides the same secure Stripe form.
Saved securely for renewals
For subscription items, you authorize automatic charges to the same card on each renewal date, at the amount disclosed at checkout and in our renewal notices. Every renewal notice names the renewal date, the amount, and the cancellation deadline, so a renewal never arrives unannounced. The authorization lasts until you cancel. Section 3 of the Terms of Use states this in full.
Canceling and billing questions
You can cancel from your portal, without calling anybody. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at [email protected]: we investigate and correct real mistakes, and section 3 of the Terms of Use describes the route. Whether your cancellation needs advance notice depends on the business or personal declaration you made at checkout: see Business or Personal Purchase.
