Creating Your Account

How do you create a UR Local Marketing account? Register during checkout, sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, or use the set-password link we email after a purchase. Here is each route and exactly what we store.

Updated

You can create your client portal account three ways: register during checkout, sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, or use the one-time set-password link we email you after a purchase. Whichever route you take, the same email address always resolves to one account, so your invoices, your domain and hosting records, your files, and your support thread all live in one place.

Ways to create an account

  • During checkout. The account step asks for your email and your details, then a payment method. Nothing is charged on that screen.
  • With Google, Apple, or Microsoft. Signing in with one of these creates your account on the spot, using the name and email that provider verified.
  • After a purchase. If you bought without choosing a password, we email you a one-time link to set one. See Your account after checkout.

What we store

When you create an account we collect your name, email, phone, and company. Your password is stored only as a secure hash, never as plain text. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, that provider gives us your name and email, plus a sign-in token so your login keeps working. We also log sign-in attempts, including the IP address and browser used, for security and fraud prevention. The Privacy Policy states all of this in full.

Choosing your email

The email on your account is where your invoices, renewal notices, and legal notices are sent, so use an address you actually read. An Apple Hide My Email relay address works as a login, but we ask for a real address as your contact address: a relay that stops forwarding can silently drop the notices that matter most.

Choosing a password

A new password needs at least 8 characters, and that is the only rule. Length is what makes a password hard to guess, so we do not force symbols or capitals. Your password cannot be your email address.

Creating a client portal account is also one of the ways you accept our Terms of Use. Once your account exists, read Signing In to Your Account for the four ways in, or head straight to your portal.
