How Ordering Works

An online order runs through five stages: cart, account, review, payment, fulfillment. You build your cart, sign in or create your account and save a payment method, then read a review page that shows every item with its price, its refund status, and its renewal terms. The charge happens only after you confirm on that review page, and fulfillment starts after your payment settles.

The steps

• Cart. Choose your plan, answer the setup questions, add any extras or a domain. Your cart is saved as you go.
• Account. Sign in or create your account: your details first, then a payment method. Nothing is charged on that screen. The method is saved and charged only after you have read the invoice on the next screen.
• Review. Every item with its price and refund status, and for subscription items, the renewal date, the renewal amount, and the cancellation deadline. One acceptance box places the order.
• Payment. After you confirm, your saved method is charged. Your bank may ask you to approve the payment, and you then land on the order confirmation page.
• Fulfillment. It starts after your payment settles. Most items are scheduled and started by our team; a domain registration may start automatically.

What we keep

When you place an order, we keep an acceptance record: the items and prices displayed, the consent text shown, the boxes checked, and the time. It is the evidence of the agreement and of the disclosures you saw, under section 21 of the Terms of Use.

Changing your mind

Before fulfillment starts on an item, you can cancel that item through your portal or by email, and the right applies per item. A domain registration is the exception, because it may be submitted to the registrar automatically once your payment settles. Section 21 of the Terms of Use carries the exact rules, and every refund is paid minus the payment processing fees the payment provider keeps.
