The review page asks whether you are buying for business purposes or for personal, family, or household use. That one answer changes the thing that matters most after the sale: how you cancel a subscription. It does not change your prices, your items, or anything else about the order.
If you buy for business
- Your consent includes a confirmation that you are buying for business purposes, on behalf of the business named on the order.
- To stop a renewal, your cancellation notice must reach [email protected] at least 14 days before the renewal date. Notice that arrives after that deadline applies to the following term.
- The review page and your acceptance record name the exact notice deadline for each renewal date, so the date you must act by is never a calculation you have to do yourself.
If you declare a personal purchase
- The business purpose sentence is dropped from the consent text, because it would contradict the answer you just gave.
- You may cancel at any time, online in your client portal or by email, and your cancellation stops the next renewal regardless of the 14 day window.
- Your acceptance record is stored with the consumer wording, so the record shows the exact terms you accepted. Section 16 of the Terms of Use is where both sets of rules live.
What stays the same either way
- Each item's refund status is unchanged by the declaration.
- A domain renewal is never an automatic card charge for anyone. It is invoiced as a new charge at the then-current registrar price, with advance notice, and if it is not paid the domain lapses under registrar rules.
- The acceptance record is kept the same way, under section 21 of the Terms of Use.
