When you buy from us, your order is saved to a client portal account on your email address. If you completed a purchase without choosing a password, we email you a one-time link to set one. Open the link, choose a password, and the account holding your order is yours.
Why the account exists
Your invoices, your domain and hosting records, your files, and your support thread all live in the portal. It is where you approve work, reach every invoice from the first one, and cancel a subscription without calling anybody. You will need it after launch more than you need it now, which is why every purchase comes with one.
How the link behaves
- It lasts 7 days. It arrives alongside your receipt, and a receipt opened on the following Tuesday should still get you in.
- It works once. The moment your password is set, that link and every other outstanding link for your address stop working.
- If it has expired, the page tells you so and offers to send a new one. The password reset flow works too: see Forgot Your Password.
If you tried to register and we emailed a link instead
If you type an email address at checkout that already has paid orders behind it but no password yet, we do not accept a password typed on the spot. We email a set-password link to that address instead. That is a security measure, not an error: it proves you own the inbox before anyone can open an account that already holds orders and invoices. The link brings you straight back to the checkout step you were on, with your cart intact.
Choosing the password
At least 8 characters. That is the only rule, and your password cannot be your email address.
