From Iraq to the U.S., from a single desk to a full-stack team: our journey has always been about solving problems for real people and making technology feel simple, safe, and effective.
We started building websites in 2008, serving local businesses, organizations, and government projects in Iraq. Over the years, we delivered more than 2,700 websites—from small business sites to complex portals—always with clean code, fast load times, and hands-on support. In 2011 we added web hosting through a trusted third party so clients could get design and infrastructure in one place. Our hosting capability later grew into Inkhost, a dedicated hub for speed, security, and reliability.
After arriving in the United States in 2015, we kept going—supporting sites nationwide and continuing to collaborate with teams across the Middle East. In 2017, we officially launched Inkhost in Louisville, Kentucky as our hosting base, focusing on performance and data protection. We pursued server administration credentials and put safeguards in place so clients could count on their infrastructure day and night.
In 2021, we saw a clear need among local companies: a partner who could handle not just hosting and design, but ongoing strategy—search visibility, site updates, analytics, and support. That’s when we assembled the close-knit team that would become UR Local Marketing, adding advanced web builds, Local SEO, and even mobile apps—delivered with transparent pricing and responsive service.
By 2022, AI tools were accelerating. We upgraded our workflows with structured data, smarter research, and content processes designed for both traditional search and emerging answer engines. The result: faster delivery, cleaner ops, and measurable outcomes.
In 2023, while living in El Cajon, we launched El Cajon Services to support local businesses and a nonprofit we served—websites, hosting, and hands-on help. It worked well, but we soon realized “El Cajon Services” conflicted with government search results and wasn’t clearly tied to marketing. After researching how the city site ranked for that name, we chose a clearer brand path. In 2025, we introduced UR Local Marketing as the primary brand, with El Cajon Services continuing as a DBA (doing business as) under UR Local Marketing—same team, same services, now easier to find and understand.
Today, we offer end-to-end solutions—domain management, web hosting, Google services, social media marketing, local ads, graphic design & branding, and business services—plus clear pricing and real support. Need a site from scratch, a rebuild, or ongoing optimization? We’ve got the stack covered: domains, hosting, security, updates, optimization, and reporting.
